Assistant Project Manager/Project Officer (Full-time)

Jockey Club 'Bounce Back' Intergeneration Programme 2.0 is organized by Social Impact Fellows and funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. It is an implicit experiential service learning model which improves the resilience of the students and facilitate senior participants adapting their retirement life through purposeful intergeneration interactions. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Ensure the objectives of the project are met to improve resilience of the youth and facilitate senior participants adapting their retirement life through purposeful intergeneration interactions

  2. Maintain strategic partnership with the relevant parties for collaboration and synergy

  3. Plan and coordinate the project training workshops, activities and annual community-wide event – including event set-up, materials preparation, communication with trainers, participants and secondary schools

  4. Project administration for good document and financial record, evaluation of projects and report writing

  5. Perform any other duties as assigned

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education/ Social Science/ Human Resources/ Communication related would be an advantage)

  • Minimum 3 years’ of project management experiences, preferably in the field of education, inter-generation or active ageing related projects

  • Solid experience in programme design, deliver and training

  • Self-directed, flexible, organized problem-solver with demonstrable aptitude for working with the youth and older adults

  • Exceptional communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Adobe Suite experience a plus

  • Good in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin

  • Less experience will be considered as Project Officer

 

 

We offer ample of learning and development opportunities, and a 5-day work week in Lai Chi Kok, while work in weekends is occasionally required.
