Jockey Club 'Bounce Back' Intergeneration Programme is funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. It is an implicit experiential service learning model which improves the resilience of the students and facilitate senior participants adapting their retirement life through purposeful intergeneration interactions. The project team is now looking for passionate, committed and innovative people to join the team to co-create bigger impact!
1. Project Manager (Full-time)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Oversee the whole project and ensure an effective model of inter-generation service learning can be carried out.

  2. Ensure the objectives of the project are met to improve resilience of the youth and facilitate senior participants adapting their retirement life through purposeful intergeneration interactions.

  3. Build and maintain strategic partnership with the relevant parties for collaboration and synergy.

  4. Plan and organize the project training workshop, activities and annual community-wide event.

  5. Manage project administration for progress monitoring and project record.

  6. Perform any other duties as assigned

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor degree or above in any discipline (Education/Social Science/Human Resources/Communication related would be an advantage)

  2. Over 5 years of project management experiences in the field of education, training and engagement of youth and older adults

  3. Solid experience in programme design, deliver and training

  4. Experiences in value based programme, strategic planning, partnership building and managing community-wide scale projects

  5. Self-directed, flexible, organized problem-solver with demonstrable aptitude for working with the youth and older adults

  6. Exceptional communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

  7. Good in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin.

 

 

We offer ample of learning and development opportunities, and a 5-day work week in Lai Chi Kok, while work in weekends is occasionally required. 2. Third Age Champion (Part-time)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Implementation of the project and ensure an effective model of inter-generation service learning can be carried out.

  2. Coordinate with different parties to ensure the project is executed according to plans and facilitates the measurement of impact.

  3. Organize, develop, and enhance the seniors participants of the project.

  4. Assist the project training workshops, activities and annual community-wide event.

  5. Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor degree or above in any discipline

  2. Solid experiences in coordinating with different parties and building seniors community network

  3. An active senior with first-hand knowledge of the needs, concerns and aspirations of ‘older adult life stage’.

  4. Exceptional communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

  5. Good in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
